Seminars and Workshops
Spark proudly offers seminars and workshops for teachers, counselors, school administrators, staff and parents. Seminars address the Spark Development & Learning Program™, treatment and educational theories, and general educational matters, including such topics as learning styles and preferred learning environments, Advanced Learning Techniques™, communication, homework help, time management, goal setting, motivation, and self-esteem.
IN-SCHOOL PROGRAM
Spark offers schools and other institutions, the opportunity to imbed Spark's programs directly into their curriculum. The In-School Program includes:
(i) Initial Training
A certified Spark trainer will provide the required, Initial Training Course. Initial Training content includes the basic cognitive and perceptual theories fundamental to the Spark Development Centers' programs, the process of assessment, Advanced Learning Techniques™ and operation of the Spark Development & Learning Program™.
(ii) Implementation Review and Staff Development
During the Initial Term, Implementation Review and Staff Development will be delivered by a certified Spark employee on a regular basis.
(iii) Equipment & Materials
Spark will provide to each institution all materials and equipment necessary to implement and operate the Enhancement Programs.
(iv) Pre and Post Program Assessment and Report Generation
Pre-Program
As part of the Initial Training, Spark will administer all pre-program
student assessments. In addition, Spark will mark such assessments
and prepare individual pre-program reports.
Post-Program
Each Designated Site Program Administrator is required to administer all post-program assessments and deliver such assessments to Spark. Spark will then mark such assessments and prepare individual post-program reports.
